We have been voting, and approving, measures for the construction of a 4th Bore for over a decade, yet NOTHING EVER HAPPENS. After approving bonds/measures/initiatives/etc., where has all the money that was approved gone to? Caldecott Tunnel 4th Bore? I'll believe it when I see it. Reply

As a Bay Area resident and commuter, this appears to be an excellent use of stimulus monies. No comment on whether the dollar amount is appropriate for the building of a new tunnel through solid rock. The current three bore (tunnel) bottleneck causes daily loss of productivity and burning of fossel fuels as vehicles idle in stalled traffic. Reply
