This is the present administrations move of the 'Pay to Play' game. They purposely increase the unemployment pool than utilize taxpayer money to employee people, which in reality is to BUY votes in the upcoming 2010 elections. Therefore, when you go to the polls in the near future, remember the corrupt Illinois governor Blagojevich was thrown out of office for basically the same reasons. for the very same reasons. Reply

Reply to Al Hammill : Purposely increase the unemployment pool. Are you serious?! The reason for all this amazingly high unemployement is past administrations looking the other way for the last 20+ years while the financial industry "made" a killing. Unfortunately the vast majority of this "profit" was just on paper and not real. Now this administration has to clean up this and every other mess it's been left and of course they get the blame even though Obama's been in office such a short time. Reply

This project is being managed out of VDOT's Richmond district, but should be listed under Brunswick County Reply

Seriously, what does this mean? We just got the smoking ban in VA and are now developing a Tobacco Heritage Trail? What is it anyway? Reply

Reply to Sara Long : It's 6M dollars to create 65 temporary jobs and build something that we don't need but yet still have to maintain indefinitely. Reply
