The logic as I see it - if we have enough slurry projects, tax other productive people 100% to pay for them, (or just have the FED print the $$) then we should be prosperous beyond our wildest dreams? The solution is now obvious, we don't have nearly enough government funded slurry projects lined up. Reply

I see a lot of comments that complain about how fixing a road does not stimulate our economy. While I agree that road repair is hardly an innovative way to turn the economy around, I would disagree about it not having a long term positive impact. I'm sure the people in several counties in the mid-west that recently had to revert to gravel for lack of funds would be happy to be slurry sealed. The long term jobs are transportation, not digging.
