About The Poseidon Method
The Poseidon Method’s treatment approach helps restore confidence in individuals who have become physically dependent on substances like drugs and alcohol. Through their evidence-based, medical, and holistic program, The Poseidon Method tailors a treatment plan for each unique client.
The Poseidon Method Team develops custom treatment plans before the client’s arrival to treat the physiological effects of addiction and its underlying causes. With all areas of the mind, body, and spirit assessed and treated, The Poseidon Method helps lower the chances of a relapse after discharge and increases clients’ confidence in their newfound sobriety.
When clients arrive in Mykonos at The Poseidon Method, they are immediately evaluated by Poseidon Method’s multidisciplinary medical and alternative medicine team. This team includes a psychiatrist, psychologist, addiction counsellor, family therapist, physiotherapist and physical trainer, spiritual counsellor, yoga teacher, acupuncturist, and many others. Combined, clients receive treatment that’s both highly tailored and highly effective.
The Poseidon Method’s effectiveness is based on the principle that every client is unique and must be provided with a custom treatment plan. Their medically assisted detox guarantees the first step to be as painless and comfortable as possible. Alternative options like cryotherapy offer more options for discomfort management, plus medical options like Suboxone. After detox, clients move to The Poseidon Palace to receive residential treatment substance-free. There, clients will enjoy a low staff-to-client ratio with only 8 clients at a time, luxurious accommodations, a pool, chef-prepared meals, and a surrounding of Greek culture.

Poseidon has partnered with Nostos Mykonos Yachts to offer clients weekend day trips in a luxurious catamaran yacht. Each weekend, clients discover various nearby islands along the famous southern coast of Mykonos. A 3-course meal prepared by the Yacht Chef & professional photographer captures this portion of clients’ luxury rehab journeys (photographs optional).
For celebrities, people of affluence, and high-ranking professionals, The Poseidon Method provides a special VIP treatment track. In this program, clients receive jet transport, a sober companion, help with legal issues, security personnel, and much more.
Whole Body Cryotherapy subjects clients to extreme cold for a short period of time.
