They support adults of all ages and genders facing complex trauma, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar, and personality disorders. Located in a secluded coastal setting with private suites, chef-prepared meals, and wellness services, Amend sets clients on a path to lasting well-being and meaningful change.
Experience Personalized, Whole-Person Care
Amend blends evidence-based and alternative therapies to meet each client’s needs in six key wellness domains: emotional, physical, family, social, and spiritual health. Clients engage in innovative approaches like ketamine-assisted therapy and deep transcranial magnetic stimulation (Deep TMS), as well as somatic and experiential therapies to tune into their body and mind. Seasoned practitioners facilitate art therapy, sound healing, music therapy, equine therapy, dance movement therapy, massage, and meditation.

Both of Amend’s Malibu locations feel like refined private residences, free of distractions so clients can concentrate on themselves. Each house boasts 6 private bedrooms with high-end furnishings and direct access to patios, balconies, or gardens. Clients unwind in elegant living and dining areas, in the pool, or on the tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts. A private chef prepares nutrient-rich meals, and trainers provide individualized fitness programming.
Transition Home with Virtual Outpatient Care
Amend’s virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers more structure than traditional therapy and serves as a step-down from residential care or an entry point for new clients. The 12-week program includes 9 hours of group therapy weekly, plus individual, family, and EMDR sessions, along with yoga or meditation for holistic support.
